Never take someone else’s prescribed medication. You may think you both have the same problem, but your self-diagnosis could be off track, and you run the risk of serious side effects.
Life is a work in progress
Never take someone else’s prescribed medication. You may think you both have the same problem, but your self-diagnosis could be off track, and you run the risk of serious side effects.
If the medication label says to take it with water, don’t take it with coffee or whatever’s handy. Other drinks may not dissolve the medication properly.
The heat and humidity in the bathroom are bad for medicine, so move it to the linen closet. Just install spice racks inside the closet door; they’re the right size for prescription bottles.
Prescription drugs are a necessary and constant part of many people’s lives. It is important to follow the directions to optimize their effects and minimize their risks.
Don’t flush expired meds down the toilet—it sends antibiotics and chemicals into the water supply. Mix with kitty litter or coffee grounds, then place in a sealed plastic bag and toss in the garbage or better yet, find out if your local pharmacy has a recycling program and take them in.
